Somewhere between becoming somebody's mama and keeping up with everybody else's schedule, it's easy to put yourself last. 🤎
Between school drop-offs, work, ball games, grocery runs, laundry, and all the little things that somehow fill every hour of the day, it's easy to find yourself wearing the same three outfits on repeat and wondering when you last did something just for YOU.
And listen, a graphic tee isn't magically going to give you more hours in the day. 😂 But feeling comfortable in what you're wearing, finding a few pieces that make getting dressed easier, and having something to look forward to outside your everyday routine? Those little things matter, too.
And you know what else helps? Good clothes and good people.

It's About More Than What You Wear
Maybe it's your favorite graphic tee that's been washed a hundred times and somehow gets softer with every wear. Maybe it's the new sweatshirt you picked up at our she-shed, or that comfy jumpsuit you couldn't leave behind from Billie Jo's.
Or maybe it's not even about buying something at all. Maybe you just need to get out of the house, walk around somewhere other than Target, visit with a friend, and spend a little time doing something you enjoy.
As moms and women, we spend so much of our time taking care of everyone else. We remember the appointments, keep up with the schedules, make sure everybody has what they need, and try to keep all the moving pieces of family life running smoothly.
Sometimes, we need a little reminder that we're allowed to enjoy the little things, too.
You don't need a special occasion to wear something you love. You don't need a birthday or a holiday to plan a little outing with a friend. And you certainly don't have to wait until everything on your to-do list is finished to take a little time for yourself. (Let's be honest, would that day ever actually come? 😂)

The Heart Behind Tucked & Threaded
When I started Tucked & Threaded, I wanted to create apparel that women could feel good wearing in their everyday lives. As a mom myself, I understand the need for clothes that are comfortable, easy to style, and fit into the reality of a busy schedule.
We're not dressing for a perfect, picture-ready life. We're dressing for the school pickup line, Friday night football games, weekend adventures, coffee runs, family vacations, and all the ordinary moments that end up becoming our favorite memories.
That's why I love creating graphic tees and sweatshirts that you can reach for again and again. Pieces that work with your favorite jeans, layer easily when the weather turns cool, and help you feel like yourself without having to overthink your outfit.
But over the years, Tucked & Threaded has become about more than the apparel we create.
It's about the women who shop with us, the conversations we have, the familiar faces who come back to see what's new, and the new friends we get to meet along the way.
And that's where our little she-shed comes in.

A Little Place for Shopping, Connection, and Community
One of my favorite parts of running Tucked & Threaded is opening the she-shed for shopping days and welcoming women into our little space...& the occasional husband or brother who tags along.
There's something special about getting to see our apparel in person, visit with customers, help someone find a new favorite, and catch up with women who have supported us along the way.
It's also an opportunity to invite other small businesses into the shed!
When we welcome businesses like Billie Jo's, it gives our shoppers the chance to discover something new, meet another local business owner, and support more than one small business in a single visit.
As a small business owner myself, I know how much heart goes into building something of your own. Every product, every customer interaction, every event, and every little detail represents someone's time, hard work, and dream.
Being able to create a space where other business owners can share what they do is something I truly love.
And for our shoppers? It's a chance to get out of the house, browse a little, discover something you didn't know you needed, and spend time with people who are working hard to bring something special to our community.
Sometimes you leave with a new sweatshirt. Sometimes you find your next favorite boutique. And sometimes the best part is simply the conversation you had while you were there.
I think all of those things are worth making time for.

A Reminder for the Busy Mama
If you're in a season where it feels like everyone needs something from you, consider this your little reminder to make room for yourself, too.
Wear the tee you love. Put on the comfy jumpsuit. Grab that sweatshirt you've been eyeing. Invite a friend to lunch or plan a little shopping date. Find a local business you've never visited and introduce yourself.
You don't have to do anything extravagant. Sometimes, the smallest change in your routine can give you something to look forward to.
And if you're a West Tennessee mama, we'd love for Tucked & Threaded to be one of those places for you.
Whether you're shopping our latest graphic tees online or stopping by the she-shed during one of our shopping days, we're happy you're here. We're grateful for every order, every visit, every kind word, and every time you choose to support what we're building.
Because from one busy mama to another, we know life gets full. We know you're juggling a lot. And we believe you deserve to feel good in what you wear and enjoy the little moments along the way.
Good clothes. Good people. A little time for yourself. That's a combination we can get behind. 🤎
We hope you'll join us for a she-shed shopping day soon!
With love,
Crystal
