Thinner Style Tee

What does the Thinner Style tee feel like?

Our Thinner Style tees are lightweight and breathable — perfect for layering or warmer days. The fabric has a soft, lived-in feel right out of the bag. Mostly 100% cotton with some styles having blends with polyester and rayon.

How does it fit?

This style runs with a more relaxed, slightly tapered silhouette. It's not skin-tight, but it's not boxy either — a great everyday fit for most body types.

Who is it best for?

Anyone who wants a comfortable, easy-wearing tee that doesn't feel heavy or stiff. Great for layering under flannels or jackets. These are great for doing front tuck's or cutting off the bottom hem for a rolled edge. 

Vintage Style Tee

What makes it "vintage"?

Our Vintage Style tees have a slightly faded, worn-in look and feel — like a tee you've had for years and can't stop reaching for. The fabric is soft and has a subtle texture that gives it that authentic retro character. This tee is thinner as well.

How does it fit?

Vintage tees typically have a slightly relaxed fit with a lived-in drape. They're not oversized, but they have a little extra ease through the body for that classic, effortless look and a little longer length in the body. This aspect makes them great tees to wear with leggings or biker shorts, cut off the bottom hem to make it fit your body perfectly, or for our tall friends!

Will it shrink after washing?

Vintage-style fabrics can have some initial shrinkage. These are 100% cotton. We recommend washing cold and tumble drying on low to preserve the fit and that signature worn-in feel.

Mineral Wash Tee

What is mineral wash?

Mineral wash is a garment-dyeing process that gives each tee a unique, one-of-a-kind color variation. No two shirts look exactly alike — that's part of the charm!

How does the fit compare to a standard tee?

Mineral wash tees have a relaxed, slightly oversized fit and are a thicker tee, but not stiff. The garment-dyeing process can affect the fabric's hand feel, giving it a softer, broken-in texture.

Any special care instructions?

Yes! Because of the dyeing process, we recommend soaking your mineral wash tee in water before the first wash to help set the color. Always wash cold, inside out, and tumble dry low.

Unisex Tee

What does "unisex" mean for sizing?

Our Unisex tees are designed to fit a wide range of body types without being gender-specific. They tend to run with a straighter silhouette that works well for everyone. Often times these are our Comfort Colors branded tees.

Should I size up or down?

If you prefer a more fitted look, we recommend ordering your true tee size. If you like an oversized or relaxed fit, size up one size. Check the size chart on each product page for exact measurements.

Are unisex tees true to size?

Generally yes, though the cuts can vary. These are 100% cotton tees so they do not have a lot of stretch so we always recommend sizing up one size if you're unsure.

Urban Heavy Tee

What makes the Urban Heavy Tee different?

The Urban Heavy Tee is made from a thicker, heavier-weight fabric — think structured, substantial, and premium. It holds its shape beautifully and has a more polished, elevated look compared to a standard tee. While this style is slightly cropped, it gives that boxy look without having you compromise on length. If you aren't sure about the boxy or unisex tee, this would be a great choice.

How does it fit?

This style is not clingy, but the heavier fabric gives it a clean, put-together silhouette and makes it seem drapey and flowy. Great for wearing on its own as a statement piece.

Is it too hot to wear in summer?

It's a heavier tee, so it's best suited for cooler weather or air-conditioned environments. It's a go-to for fall and transitional seasons.

Boxy Tee

What is a boxy fit?

A boxy tee has a wider, more square silhouette — shorter in length with a wider body and dropped shoulders. It's a bold, fashion-forward fit that's having a major moment right now.

How should I style a boxy tee?

Boxy tees look great tucked into high-waisted jeans or skirts, paired with wide-leg pants, or worn oversized with biker shorts or athletic shorts. They're incredibly versatile for any look you're going for!

Should I size down in a boxy tee?

We offer two styles in the boxy tee. The thicker version, I would recommend sizing down and the Comfort Colors version, we recommend sizing up one size. Check the product page for recommendations and measurements to be sure.

General Fit Questions

Where can I find size charts?

Every product page includes a size chart specific to that style. Since our tees come in different fits and fabrics, we always recommend checking the chart before ordering.

What sizes do you carry?

Most styles are available in ladies' XS–4XL, depending on the tee. Youth and toddler sizes are available on select styles. Size availability is listed on each product page.

Can I return or exchange if the fit isn't right?

Absolutely! We accept returns and exchagnes within 30 days of delivery on unworn, unwashed items with original tags attached. Email us at hello@tuckedandthreaded.com with your order number and we'll get you sorted.
